Cook, Caerlaverock Tearoom and Shop, Glencaple

You are an enthusiastic cook with baking skills as well as broad cooking skills. In the role you will be cooking and generally helping in a busy tearoom kitchen with the rest of our team.
Caerlaverock Tearoom and Shop is located in the village of Glencaple, 5 miles south of Dumfries. We are open every day all year round with our tearoom serving tea, coffee, home baking as well as breakfasts, light lunches and afternoon teas between 8.30am and 4.00pm.
The role is full time, five days a week with a weekend rota to be agreed. You will bake and prepare food to our recipes and your own as agreed with Anne, the Shop and Tearoom manager.
You must enjoy working with the general public as customer care and service is a high priority in our business as is maintaining the high level of standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas. You need to be happy working as part of our busy team and on occasions help staff on the shop floor.
Food hygiene certificate is an advantage as is having a good understanding of food hygiene legislation.
Salary £7.50 - £8.00 / hr
