Vintage gravy / sauce boat (TW#01)
A. J. Wilkinson Royal Staffordshire Pottery \'Honeyglaze\'
Pretty floral band round body of jug with gold stars and border.
The handle has an embossed floral motif bordered in gold at top, and embossed leaf design at base of handle.
Note that the photos show a mark to the side of the handle - this is not a crack, it is a firing blemish in the glaze
Black backstamp dating this item to approx 1947 onwards. Above the backstamp is the impressed mark \'Leda\' - probably the design name
Dimensions: approx 7\" wide from handle to pouring spout; 3\" from back to front edge across rim; approx 3\" tall at rim of bowl
Slight rubbing to gold on rim due to use and age, otherwise excellent condition.
