SITE MANAGER - THE GREENMANTLE

We are a small expanding pub group focusing on two main pubs as well as our pop up bar and events business.

The GreenMantle is a beer and food driven pub, we are known for our cask ales and famous buffalo burgers.

Recruiting for a "Site Manager" working directly under the Owner and Operations manager who both work within the venues you will effectively be responsible for the day to day running of the venue.

You will manage your team and work to put delegated tasks into play, you will have strong people skills, hold a current personal license and be up for a challenge to improve and energise the venue.

Responsibilities will include
Interacting with customers (including serving food and drink) and ensuring that high standards of customer service are maintained;
taking responsibility for pub safety and security, including working with the operations manager in recruiting and managing staff
Working with the operations manager in ensuring the venue complies with health and safety regulations at all times in the pub, kitchen and other areas;
organising and advertising events
running promotional campaigns to market products and the business;
collecting and acting on customer feedback to improve the overall running of the venue;
undertaking regular stock checks, placing orders with suppliers and restocking (which involves physical work);
ensuring regular maintenance of the premises, including cleaning and repairs;
monitoring profitability and performance to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded;
meeting with the operations manager on a regular basis to assess pub performance and set sales targets;
maintaining relations with members of the local community, the police and liquor licensing authorities.
