This is a genuine BMW Westfalia swan neck detachable tow bar for an E53 X5.
It fits all E53 X5's from 1999 through to 2006 and is a genuine factory BMW part.
There is no key for this so it can not be locked, it is in the unlocked position so is fully functional, you may be able to get a new lock from BMW or Westfalia if you wanted.
