Warehouse Assistant required for manual labour duties, which require strength and stamina. Responsibilities include loading and unloading containers and lorries. Must be motivated and willing to learn. Other duties include preparing orders for despatch, health and safety duties, stock movement within the warehouse, and mail order preparation. Must be able to carry out instructions and be able to lift 25kg. Previous experience would be helpful but not essential. Full training will be given. Must have good literacy and numeracy skills. This position is Full time 5 days a week, with opportunity for overtime. Hours are between 7am-10am and 6pm. Shifts will include working on the weekend. We DO NOT operate zero hours contracts. Full time hours are given. Pay is 7.20 per hour, and wages are paid weekly. This is initially a 3 month contract, with a view to permanency for the successful candidate.
