Nursery Nurse Practitioner and Apprentice vacancies

Argyle Bridge Children's Nursery is a busy nursery providing care for children aged 3 months to five years. We require a nursery nurse practitioner to join our team. Applicants must be qualified to at least SVQ3 or HNC in a childcare qualification and be registered or apply to register with the SSSC

We also require an apprentice to join our busy team all training will be given and the successful candidate will be required to undertake the NPA childcare and education course through further education at college one night per week.

Successful candidates must be self-motivated and enthusiastic about working in the early years setting. Have excellent communication skills, use of own initiative and team work are key attributes. The post is a full time role which is worked on a compressed working pattern i.e. 4 days with a variable day off.

Duties will include:
- Supporting children's learning and development
- Planning to meet children's needs, observational assessment
- Participation in reflective practice and driving improvement
- Customer service, working closely with children and families
- Maintaining health and safety of all
