We have a vacancy for a part-time gardener in Strathtay. We have a 2 acre garden, planted to lawn and with a wide variety of mature shrubs and trees all of which are in great condition. We have outbuildings which house garden machinery (including ride-on mower, strimmers, manual mower, leaf blowers, mulcher etc) and tools - in fact everything that a garden of this size would ever need. We don't however have someone to maintain the garden! Lawn-mowing, weeding, leaf gathering, fertilizing and pruning are the key tasks. We would expect that in the summer months there may be a need for approximately 20 hours per week but this is flexible, winter months will reduce the need for help but not eliminate it. This is a fantastic job for anyone who would like a part-time role in a lovely garden, surrounded by great scenery and loads of wildlife. Pay rates are negotiable to suit the experience of the successful applicant. An experienced gardener is preferred. Must have own transport. And must like dogs!
