A growing Berkshire-based gutter clearance and repair company is looking for a Gutter Cleaning and Repair Technician to join its rapidly expanding team. The position will involve providing the above services to a high standard and with excellent customer service.

The role will involve working at heights and travelling from location to location according to the daily job sheet. Your working hours will vary but will normally be around 7/8 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week Monday to Saturday on a shift basis, with a start time normally between 7.00 a.m. to 8.00 a.m.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working at height with ladders in the same role or similar and have good people skills. Our employees are our main assets and therefore we pay people a good wage that includes a very reasonable bonus scheme. A company van and equipment will be provided during the working hours.

Role and Responsibilities

• Cleaning and clearing gutters as per daily job sheets
• External cleaning of fascias and guttering
• Carrying out repairs to guttering and down pipes as necessary
• Quoting for simple repairs and installation work based on clients requirements
• Quoting for cleaning and clearance work based on clients requirements
• Taking payments and liaising with office staff for bookings
• Recognising opportunities for up selling and increased customer satisfaction
• Liaising with office team regarding purchasing and ordering parts as required

Key Attributes

• You must have a good head for heights as you will be working on ladders
• Good communication skills
• Must be in good physical condition
• Full Clean UK driving license (held for min 2 years) and a good driving record.
• Honest and trustworthy with a positive attitude
• Able to work on own initiative and recognise opportunities to improve the customer’s experience
• Well presented and polite
• A good work ethic

Hours: 5-6 days p/wk (Mon-Sat shift basis) – Start time may vary but usually between 7:00-8:00am

Salary: OTE 20k – 30K depending on experience
